I have very dry lips. Won't this make them worse?

How long does the color actually last?

Once the colour develops (takes about 30 seconds), it lasts 8+ hours with normal wear. It's water-resistant and won't transfer onto cups or cheeks, but it's not completely kiss-proof or meal-proof like those super-drying liquid mattes. You might need to reapply after a big meal, but the colour fades evenly without that awful ring around your lips. Most customers reapply once at lunch and they're set for the day.
